Dick of 328 Fifth avenue, Juniata, died at the Mercy hospital on Saturday evening at 7.45 o'clock of uraemic poisoning, death coming to the lady rather suddenly, she being taken ill Saturday noon and was admitted to the institution at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Dick was born on Nov. 20, 1877, at Martinsburg, and was the daughter of Levi and Mary Lynn, the former being deceased. She was united in marriage to Daniel L. Dick at Roaring Spring on Aug. 19, 1896, the couple coming to Juniata in their early married life. Here they became prominently connected in the welfare of the borough, she being very active in church and social circles. Mr. Dick is president of the Juniata board of education and also has been active in church circles. Mrs. Dick was a lifelong Christian and with her entire household was active in the membership of Trinity Lutheran church. She is survived by her husband and by two daughters, Mary Catharine and Martha Lynn Dick, both students in the Juniata High school, and to the graduation of the eldest this spring the mother was looking forward with fond anticipation. The deceased is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Lynn, and by three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. George Nicodemus, Mrs. J. G. Snyder, Mrs. J. L. McConnell, S. B. and Frank E. Lynn, all of Altoona. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the Trinity Lutheran church of Juniata, Rev. Carl C. Rasmussen, pastor, to be in charge. The cortege will go to Roaring Spring where services will also be held in the St. Luke's Lutheran church. Interment will be made at Roaring Spring.
