Spiece during the Civil war, and at the close received an honorable discharge, returning to his home here where he had since resided. On February 2, 1868, he was united in marriage with Miss Susan Garber by Justice of the Peace, Eli Dell. He is survived by his wife. Two children, Grant and Melachia preceded him to the spirit world.
