Bare Paper company, died Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at his home at Roaring Spring, R.D. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. He had been in failing health for several months. Mr. Dick was the son of Samuel and Harriett (Garber) Dick and was born in Centre county April 6, 1893. HE was married to Anna Helsel in Cumberland, Md., April 10, 1923. Surviving are his wife and these children: Mildred O. Dick of Carlisle, Edith G., Carl Edward and Dorsey Herbert, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Harriett Dick of Roaring Spring, and these brothers and sisters: Joseph G. and Walter of Roaring Spring, Robert of Bakers Summit, Mrs. Hazel Lingenfelter of Claysburg, Mrs. Mary Gates of Eldorado, Mrs. Golda Feathers, Mrs. Irene Myers, Mrs. Edith Isenberg and Susan Dick, all of Roaring Spring; two half-brothers, Arthur and Claude Dick of Roaring Spring, R.D., and one half-sister, Mrs. Roxie Lykens of Port Matilda. Friends will be received at the home. Mr. Dick was a member of the Roaring Spring Church of the Brethren and was active in the work of the church and in community affairs. DICK - Funeral services for Edward Shoemaker Dick of Roaring Spring, R.D., will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Roaring Spring Church of the Brethren in charge of Rev. H.Q. Rhodes. Interment in Greenlawn cemetery. Friends will be received at the home.
