GEORGE HARVEY DICK

Of Brookes Mills, died at Mercy hospital yesterday afternoon after an 
extended illness. He was born April 26, 1875, at Roaring Spring, R.D., 
son of Michael and Mary (Burket) Dick. He was twice married, first to 
Elizabeth Garber who preceded him in death. The second marriage was to 
Myra McGee, Sept. 21, 1929. She survives, with a son by the second 
marriage, Robert Leon Dick, at home. Children of the first marriage are 
Russell of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Mae Pollard of Roaring Spring, R.D., 
and Mrs. Gladys Stiver of Hollidaysburg, R.D. 1. There are 12 
grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two brothers, Henry and John 
Dick of Roaring Spring, R.D. One son and daughter preceded him in 
death, Norman and Emma. He was a member of the Albright Church of the 
Brethren. Friends will be received at the Byers funeral home, Woodbury, 
this evening.
