Dick died at his home in Juniata on Monday morning at 10 o'clock of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. Deceased was a son of Michael, (deceased) and Margaret Dick and was born at Roaring Spring December 28, 1887. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Dick, and two children, Emma and Cloyd, at home; also by his mother in Roaring Spring and by four brothers and one sister: Hiram, of Altoona; Ambrose, Elmer, Irwin and Mrs. Catharine Reffner, all of Roaring Spring. Mr. Dick was a member of Wasunda lodge of Red Men, also of the P.R.R. Relief association. He was employed by the P.R.R. as a carpenter in the maintenance of way department. Interment was made in the Albright cemetery at Roaring Spring Wednesday forenoon. Martinsburg Herald, Handwritten date of November 1, 1918
