KATHRYN R. DICK
May 7, 1920 - Oct. 25, 2005

  Kathryn R. Dick, 85, Roaring Spring RD, died Tuesday morning at Nason 
Hospital, Roaring Spring. She was born in McKee, daughter of Harry and 
Helena (Nofsker) Shaw. She married Ralph W. "Rally" Dick Dec. 28, 1940. 
He died April 11, 2001. She was a life-time member of Albright Church 
of the Brethren, Roaring Spring RD, where she taught children's and 
women's Sunday school for many years. She was a 1938 graduate of 
Morrisons Cove High School, Martinsburg. Mrs. Dick enjoyed reading, 
cooking, canning and especially her church.
  Surviving are two sons: Ralph W. "Bill" Jr. and Gary L. and wife, 
Pat, all of Roaring Spring; seven grandchildren; 15 great-
grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-
grandchildren; three brothers: Arlo, Cletus and his wife, Jean, of 
McKee and John "Bob" of Ore Hill; two sisters: Ruth Berkheimer and 
husband, Wayne, of Duncansville and Doris Shindledecker of Roaring 
Spring; a sister-in-law, Margaret Shaw of McKee, and brother-in-law, 
Raymond Ebling of Hollidaysburg. She was preceded in death by a 
daughter-in-law, Barbara (Kennedy) Dick; a step-great-granddaughter, 
Wendy Baroner; two infant brothers: Allen and Alexander; a brother, 
Wayne; and a sister, Lorraine Ebling.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at 
Albright Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring RD, where funeral 
services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Michael Olivieri. 
Interment at Holsinger Cemetery, Bakers Summit. Memorial contributions 
may be made to Gideon Memorial Bibles or Albright Church of the 
Brethren. Arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring.
