MARGARET HELSEL DICK Mrs. Margaret Helsel Dick, a lifelong resident of Taylor township, died at her home Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock from paralysis. She had suffered a stroke five years ago, and another followed Sunday, ending her long life. She was born in Taylor township, Aug. 29, 1850, the daughter of Henry and Catherine Helsel. She was married Dec. 12, 1870, to Michael P. Dick, who passed away June 12, 1909. She is survived by one daughter and four sons, Mrs. Catherine Reffner, Ambrose and Elmer Dick, all of Taylor township, Hiram Dick of Altoona, and Irvin Dick of Roaring Spring. Also twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-two great- grandchildren, and two brothers, Levi Helsel of Taylor township, and Samuel Helsel of Freedom township. Funeral services at 10 o'clock in the Albright Church of the Brethren, of which she was a member, and interment was made in the cemetery at the church.
