Dick, 95, Valley View Home, formerly of 2701 Walnut Ave., died Saturday, July 12, 1997, at the Home following an extended illness. He was born Feb. 23, 1902, in Roaring Spring, the son of Irvin and Leah Dick. He was twice married, first to Elsie Helsel, then to Anna Dick. They both preceded him in death. Mr. Dick was a member of Albright Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring. He retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad in May 1964. Mr. Dick enjoyed reading and baseball. Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Snyder of Levittown; a son, Charles Dively of Altoona; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Donald. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at William G. Bigelow II Funeral Home. DICK - Services for Ramey L. Dick of Valley View Home, formerly of 2701 Walnut Ave., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at William G. Bigelow II Funeral Home by the Rev. Brian W. Armen. Interment at Albright Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at William G. Bigelow II Funeral Home.
