Dickson passed away at his home near Stover station on Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, death being due to a complication of diseases. Mr. Dickson had been ill for the past three months and his condition was such that the end was expected at almost any time. William H. Dickson was born near Stover station about 68 years ago. In 1870 he was united in marriage with Miss Annie Denny, who survives, with the following children, to mourn the death of a loving husband and father: William H., Mrs. Myrtle Evans and Mrs. Jane Brannon, all of Pittsburg; Lawrence N., of Tyrone, and Esther, at home. He is also survived by two brothers, Wash, of Cherry Tree, and Benjamin F., of Tyrone. Funeral services will be held at the late home this afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. Augustus S. Fasick, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church. Interment in Grand View cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Monday, July 29, 1918, page 3
