MISS ANNA MAY DIEHL

A native of Altoona, died Saturday afternoon in the Moore county 
hospital, Pinehurst, N.C. She was born on Oct. 9, 1871, a daughter of 
Herman and Amanda Diehl, and had resided in Pittsburgh for thirty-five 
years prior to 1934 when she moved to Pine Bluff, N.C., because of her 
health. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bertha E. Detwiler of the city 
and Mrs. Lawrence Thompson of Swissvale, and seven nieces and nephews. 
Miss Diehl was well known in Altoona, frequently visiting here with 
Mrs. William C. Drye and Mrs. Dorothy Warner, John and William 
Detwiler.
