She was born May 25, 1925, in Altoona, the daughter of Antonio and Vincenza (Agati) Aveni. She married Adam J. DiFlaviano Nov. 12, 1949 in Altoona. He died Jan. 17, 2003. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Mount Carmel Church Choir, St. Anthony Society and Blair Concert Chorale. Mrs. DiFlaviano graduated from Altoona Catholic High School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved music and cooking for her family. Mrs. DiFlaviano is survived by a daughter, Susan, and a very special son-in-law, Dan Green, of Hollidaysburg; and a son, Adam E. and a very special daughter in law, Missy DiFlaviano, of Duncansville; four sisters: Margaret Nardelli of Hollidaysburg, Helen McCulley of Altoona, Adeline Raynor of Manassas, VA, and Gina Romani of Hollidaysburg; three grandsons: Danny, Randy and Adam J.; and a cousin, Elizabeth DiFolco of Altoona.
