He was born in Claysburg June 4, 1882, a son of George and Susan (Klutz) Dively. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Emma Berkheimer of Claysburg, and several nieces and nephews. He was employed as a quarryman by the General Refractories, Claysburg, for many years. He was of the Lutheran faith. Friends are being received at the Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg.
