Death followed a short illness. He was the son of Miles and Christina (Weyant) Dively and was born at Claysburg May 8, 1881, and resided in that community all his life. He never married. Surviving are these brothers and sisters; Edward Dively of Piney Creek, Mrs. Raymond Brubaker of Cross Keys, Mrs. Robert Nearhoof of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Bessie Nearhoof of Duncansville, R.D. 2, John, Albert and Alpheus, all of Claysburg, R.D. Mr. Dively was a member of the Claysburg Reformed church. Friends will be received at his home after noon Saturday. DIVELY - Funeral services for Jesse Dively of Claysburg, R.D., will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock in the Claysburg Reformed church in charge of Rev. H. C. Carolus. Interment in the Geeseytown cemetery. Friends will be received at the home of his sister, Mrs. Bessie Nearhoof at Catfish. Altoona Mirror, June 27, 1947
