Dively, of Leamersville died at his home Tuesday morning, Oct. 29, at 10.20 o'clock after having been ill for the past seven months. He was born in Klahr July 11, 1872, a son of Martin and Rachel (Lingenfelter) Dively. On July 7, 1895, he was united in marriage with Martha Musselman. Mr. Dively was a resident of Klahr for 47 years and resided at Leamersville for the past 27 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Dively; one daughter, Mrs. Ida Snowberger; two grandchildren, Mrs. Jean Rooney and Miss Lena Snowberger, and one great-granddaughter, Phyllis Jean, all of Leamersville; two sisters, Mrs. Claar and Mrs. Raymond Musselman, of Klahr; one brother, Morgan Dively, of Claysburg. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Fred L. and George G. Dively, and one sister, Mrs. Jane Claar, all of Klahr. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Upper Claar church in charge of James Beacon. Interment was in the church cemetery. _________________ JOHN M. DIVELY Of Leamersville died last Thursday morning after an illness of seven months. He was well known in South Fork, Beaverdale, St. Michael and Blue Knob. Born in Klahr July 11, 1872, he was a son of Martin and Rachel (Lingenfelter) Dively. Surviving are his widow, the former Martha Musselman, one daughter, Mrs. Ida Snowberger; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was a sister [sic of Mrs. Della Claar and Mrs. Raymond Musselman, both of Klahr, and Morgan Dively, Claysburg. Burial was in Blair Co. Blair County Genealogical Society, Archie Claar Obituary Collection, volume 53 (1946), pp. 114-115 [Altoona Mirror, October 31, 1946]
