JUNIE L. DIXON

  Miss Junie L. Dixon, 60, of 1421 Bald Eagle Ave., Tyrone, died at 
11:49 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003 at the Bon Secours-Holy Family 
Hospital in Altoona.
  She was born April 24, 1942 in Tyrone, a daughter of the late Elwood 
Harry and Violet Mae (Dixon) Dixon.
  Surviving are four grandchildren: Alicia, Christina, Anthony and 
Audrianna Rodriguez, all at home. She was the homemaker and care-giver 
to these children since the death of her daughter, Tammy J. Rodriguez, 
in January of 1998, 
  Also surviving are three sisters, Donna Layton of Saxton, Peggy Dixon 
of Tyrone and Cindy Riggleman of Tyrone, and a brother, Carrell Dixon 
of White Lake, Mich.
  She was also predeceased by three brothers, Gilbert, Sheldon and 
Harry "Andy" Dixon.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003 at 11 a.m. at 
the Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Roy H. Hunter 
officiating. 
Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
  Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 
7-9 p.m.
