Dobyne - A Pure and Noble Woman. Mrs. Nellie M. Bohn, wife of George A. Dobyne, Esq., breathed her pure spirit into her Redeemer's hands a little before 3 o'clock on the morning of May 14, 1880, aged 24 years - an early victim to that insidious disease pulmonary consumption. The days of her mourning are ended; she is landed on that peaceful shore where the storms of trouble never blow. She sees Him whom not having seen she loved. She drinks of the rivers of pleasure which are at His right hand, and shall thirst no more. Her principal endearing qualities, which could be only fully known to those who lived or associated with her, were the sweetness of her disposition and a heart formed for the exercise of affection and friendship. As a wife, mother and friend her kindness of heart was apparent to all; and now that she has gone, the remembrance of her many virtues must be to her sorrowing and bereaved family and friends a source of great comfort, and to us all an exhortation to imitate her example. Weep not for her, her memory is the shrine Of pleasant thoughts, left as the scent of flowers; Calm as on windless eve the sun's decline, Sweet as the song of birds among the bowers. The remains will be deposited in the private burying grounds of the late James M. Bell; the time for which has not yet been determined by her friends. Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Bohn, parents of Mrs. Dobyne were present at the time of her death. Her only brother, Mr. George Bohn, is now in Pueblo, Colorado.
