He was born on March 1, 1889, at Claysburg, a son of Abishia and Rebecca (Ickes) Dodson. He was employed as a moulder by the General Refractories company at Claysburg. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence (Mock) Dodson of Claysburg, one daughter, Mrs. Chester Mosser of Claysburg, one grandson, Amos of Claysburg, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Yingling and Mrs. Daisy Glass, both of East Freedom, and four brothers, Abe of Detroit, Mich., J. Samuel and McKinley, both of Claysburg and Austin of Altoona. He was a member of the Claysburg Reformed church. Friends will be received at the home after 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
