All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ CALVIN DODSON A lifelong resident of Claysburg and vicinity until five years ago when he moved to Osterburg and then to Imler, R.D., died yesterday morning at 11.45 o'clock in the Altoona hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks following an illness of several months. He had followed farming and lumbering all his life until retiring. He was a son of Jacob and Susan (Daugherty) Dodson, and was born at Claysburg, R.D., Sept. 11, 1872. He was united in marriage with Barbara Ellen Lingenfelter of Claysburg, R.D., in March, 1898, who survives with one son and one daughter, Albert Dodson of Osterburg and Mrs. Ray Lingenfelter of Imler, R.D. No. 1 and four grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Margaret Feathers, Mrs. Valentine Feathers and Miss Catherine Dodson, all of Claysburg, R.D., Warren Dodson of Cross Keys and Walton Dodson of Huntingdon. Three sons are deceased. He was a member of the Claysburg Reformed church for thirty-five years. Friends will be received at the home after noon Friday. DODSON - Funeral services for Calvin Dodson of Imler, R.D., will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Claysburg Reformed church in charge of Rev. Clair Garland.
