DEATH OF A CHILD

  Emory Dodson, son of Clair and Grace (Shaeffer) Dodson, died at the 
home of the parents in East Freedom yesterday morning, at 11 o'clock, 
death being caused by strangulation.  The child was aged 5 months and 
was one of twin boys, the other having died a few weeks ago from the 
effects of an attack of influenza.  This child also suffered from an 
attack of the flu, but had recovered although the disease had left the 
child in a weakened condition and it is thought that an abscess had 
formed on the lungs which broke, the child strangling from the effects.  
The child is survived by his parents and interment will be made this 
afternoon in the Newry cemetery, beside the little brother.
