Miss Sarah Domer, an elderly lady well known by the older residents of Tuckahoe valley died at her home a half mile west of Elizabeth Furnace, Thursday at 11 p.m., of a complication of diseases. She was a daughter of John Domer, one of the earliest settlers in this valley, who came here before this century came in and who died at a good old age, more than twenty years ago. Miss Domer had lived all her life on the Domer homestead where her sister, Lydia, still resides. These brothers also survive her: Rev. Samuel Domer, D.D., and G. W. Domer, of Washington, D.C., and D. D. Domer, of Pittsburg. For many years she had been a faithful member of the Lutheran church and to the church at Salem where she had so long been a worshiper, her remains will be carried on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. After the service conducted by Rev. J. A. Hartman, of Bellwood, her remains will be laid to rest in Antis cemetery.
