David Dougherty died at the Altoona hospital at 3 a.m. Saturday of influenza. He was born in this city Dec. 14, 1864, was a moulder in the P.R.R. shops until a few years ago and was last employed with the Cresson Ice company at Cresson, Pa. He was a member of the Lutheran church, and is survived by the following children: John in U.S. service in France, Joseph and Annie in Youngstown, O.; two sisters, Mrs. W. W. Hesser, of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. J. M. Hughes of this city. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., services in the Stevens mortuary chapel, interment in Fairview cemetery.
