ELLEN DAUGHERTY Mrs. Ellen Daugherty, of 1312 Sixteenth street, died at 1:45 o'clock this morning of a complication of diseases at Altoona hospital. She was aged 70 years and was a widow. She was a member of the Catholic church. She was admitted to the institution on July 29. Altoona Tribune, Thursday morning, August 1, 1918, page 10 MRS. ELLEN M. DOUGHERTY. Mrs. Ellen M. Dougherty, widow of Christopher P. Dougherty, former station agent of the Pennsylvania Railroad company at South Fork, and residing at 1321 Sixteenth street, died at the Altoona hospital at 2 o'clock yesterday morning of a complication of diseases. She was admitted on Monday. The deceased was born at Newry and was aged 70 years. She was married in 1870 and resided at South Fork until four years after the death of her husband. She was a member of St. John's Catholic church and is survived by these children: Miss Lyde, Christopher and Frank, of Pittsburg; Mrs. F. A. Donlan, of Lilly, and J. T., of Portage. She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. Mass will be said at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. John's church after which interment will be made in St. John's cemetery. Dougherty will take place this morning from her late home, 1321 Sixteenth street, at 9 o'clock and proceed to St. John's Catholic church where mass will be celebrated at 9:30 o'clock.
