Dougherty, deceased, died October 12, at 10 p.m., of a general debility, due to old age. She was a daughter of Joseph and Sarah Painter, and was born and raised in Callensburg, Clarion county, Pa. She was aged 91 years, 5 months and 25 days. About seventy-three years ago, after marrying Thomas Dougherty, she came east; traveling by way of the Old Portage (cable) railroad and located near Tyrone. After the death of her husband in his 51st year, she moved to Bellwood. She is survived by the following children: Misses Mary and Margaret, of Bellwood; Fanny of Coalport, and one son, Michael, of Tyrone; also five grand-children. Funeral services took place at St. Matthew's church Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment in Oak Grove cemetery.
