Truly "in the midst of life we are in death," and how forcibly do the providences we are this week called upon to record, admonish us all of the importance of being ready for the solemn change to which we are all doomed. - On Monday Morning, a citizen of Gaysport, named Isaac Dougherty, and a man of very intemperate habits, was discovered lying dead in a small building in that place, in which he had been keeping "bachelor's hall." He had been seen at the door but an hour or two before, procuring some water, Coroner Funk was called, and an inquest held upon his remains, and a verdict of death from the intemperate use of intoxicating drinks rendered. He was about 40 years of age. - Hollidaysburg Register. Tyrone Star, Tyrone, Pa., April 20, 1858 This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/
