PAUL R. DOUGHERTY

Of Myrtle Beach, S. C., former resident of Tyrone, died yesterday 
morning of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near his home.  
Mr. Dougherty was born June 14, 1898, at Thomastown, a son of Michael 
and Catherine (McNelis) Dougherty.  His wife, the former Dorothy Myers, 
and a daughter, Dorothy, preceded him in death.  Surviving are one 
daughter and one son, Mrs. William Roberts of Erie and Paul R., Jr., of 
Harrisburg, and two brothers and two sisters, Thomas of Van Nuys, 
Calif., Edward and Mrs. Monica Smith of Charlotte, N. C., and Miss 
Marie of Hollidaysburg.  Friends will be received at the Graham & Getz 
funeral home, Tyrone, after noon tomorrow.
