DOUGHERTY Widow of Justice Dougherty, died at her home, 43 Washington avenue, last evening, after a short illness. The deceased was born December 15, 1837. Her entire life was spent in this city. Besides being a faithful member of the First Lutheran church, she was a member of Chosen council, No. 30, Daughters of America, and Powhatan council, No. 50, Degree of Pocahontas. Two brothers and two sisters survive: Dougal McCartney and M. L. McCartney, Mrs. Elias Mowery (Eliza Maurer) and Mrs. Elizabeth Dougherty, all of this city. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon, services to be held at the First Lutheran church to be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Dr. O. C. Roth. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
