All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ MISS DOUGLAS DEAD Miss Mary Catharine Douglas died yesterday afternoon at 4.20 o'clock at her home, 417 Mulberry street of a complication of diseases, she having been an invalid practically all her lifetime. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Douglas, and was born at Canoe Creek on Sept. 22, 1899. Deceased was possessed of a gentle disposition and was a patient sufferer, who was held in the highest esteem by all who knew her. She was a member of the Lutheran church of Hollidaysburg. Besides her parents she is survived by five brothers and two sisters as follows: Mrs. Clara Hininger, Mrs. Joseph Ruffley of Hollidaysburg, Clyde O. Douglas of Dayton, Ohio; Clark E., Fred, Chester, George at home. The funeral services will be held from her late home on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock and will be private. Interment will be made in the Geeseytown cemetery. The remains can be viewed at any time. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Saturday Morning, November 16, 1918
