DEATH OF MRS. THOMAS K. DOWNING.

  A telegram was received in this city yesterday afternoon announcing 
the death at the Homeopathic hospital in Baltimore, the result of an 
operation, of Mrs. Thomas K. Downing, of Niagara Fall, [sic], N.Y.  The 
deceased was the youngest daughter of Jacob and Margaret Snyder, both 
of whom have preceded her to the grave, the family residence being at 
1123 Thirteenth avenue.  Mrs. Downing was a Baptist in her religious 
faith.  Her husband and one daughter, Katharine, survive, as do also 
one brother and several sisters.  The body will be brought to this city 
for interment, arriving on Pacific express this morning.  The hour of 
the funeral will be announced later.

FUNERAL NOTICE.

  The funeral of Mrs. T. K. Downing will take place from the late 
residence of her father, Jacob Snyder, 1123 Thirteenth avenue, this 
(Friday) afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.  Services public; interment 
private.
