E. Crampsey and the widow of former register and recorder of Blair county, Charles Downing, died on Tuesday at her home in Washington, D.C. The remains were brought to this city, arriving late last night. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Lena Brown of Cleveland, O., Mrs. Emma Jenkins of Akron, O., and Mrs. Edith Nichols of Washington, D.C., in addition to one sister, Mrs. Valentine Conners of Altoona and a brother Alderman Crampsey of this city, also one granddaughter, Mrs. Mildred Jones of Washington, D.C. The body was taken to the N. A. Stevens mortuary from which place the funeral will be held, with interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Times, Thursday Morning, October 3, 1918 FUNERAL NOTICES.
