GERARD A. DRAIN 

  Gerard A. Drain, 57, of Tyrone died recently at his residence in 
Altoona.
  He was born September 27, 1948 in Altoona, a son of the late Bernard 
J. and Bridget (Gannon) Drain.
  A 1966 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School he earned a degree in 
Mechanical Engineering in 1970 at Penn State and an MBA from the 
University of Pittsburgh in 1984.
  Working primarily in the petrochemical industry, he held positions 
with Gulf Oil Research, Pittsburgh and Chevron Refinery, Port Arthur, 
TX.
  Private services were held by the family.
