Mrs. Alice Drass, beloved with of Jacob G. Drass, died at the residence of her husband, 1800 Seventh avenue, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, of paralysis. One week ago to-day the deceased was stricken down and never rallied from the shock, dying peacefully at the time given. She was a native of Ireland, coming to America when young, and had been a resident of this country for the past twenty-seven years, twenty years of which time was spent in Hollidaysburg and the last seven years of her life was passed in Altoona. The deceased was aged 47 years and is survived by her husband and seven children. These latter are: John, Mollie, Ellie, Thomas, Annie and Alice Drass, and Mrs. James Devlin, of this city. The deceased had many warm friends in Altoona city and at Hollidaysburg where she spent nearly half of her life, who were pained to hear of her death. The funeral will take place from the late residence at half-past 8 o'clock on Monday morning to proceed to the Sacred Heart chapel, where mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock.
