DRENNING DIES; WAS 82 John Lewis Drenning of Canan Station, father of J. W. Drenning, head of the Drenning Delivery system, died at his home at 10.30 o'clock last night. He was 82. Mr. Drenning was born at Rays Cove, Bedford county, June 23, 1866, and came to Altoona in 1910 where he worked most of his life as a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary F. Drenning, and the following children. J. W. Drenning of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. E. A. Simms of Augusta, Ga., Norman Drenning, Mrs. William Whitfield, Robert Drenning and Mrs. Robert Vaughn, all of Altoona; three brothers, Robert and Irvin Drenning of Broad Top and Charles Drenning of Somerset. Mr. Drenning was a member of Calvary Baptist church. Mr. Drenning will repose at the V. L. Stevens funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
