All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ DREXLER Mrs. Dorothea Drexler, wife of Christ Drexler, died at the home of her son Carl, 1213 First avenue at 7:10 o'clock Saturday night of a complication of diseases after a long illness. She was born in Wurtenburg [sic], Germany, Nov. 28, 1856 and came to Altoona in 1886. She was a member of St. James German Lutheran church and of the Daughter of Pocahontas lodge No. 669. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Fred Glover, Carl W., Mrs. Robert Schroeder, Fred D. of Altoona and Mrs. Joseph Oeschger of Philadelphia. Two sisters, Mrs. Christ Bentz and Mrs. Elizabeth Bader, both of Germany, also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and burial will be made in Fairview cemetery.
