Employe Dies In Hospital Foster E. Duck [photo] Foster E. Duck of 1219 Fourth avenue, Duncansville, a retired sheet metal worker of the Altoona works and a former city resident, died at the Altoona hospital at 10.08 o'clock last night after an extended illness. Mr. Duck was born at Moyston Jan. 8, 1881, a son of Henry B. and Jane (Evans) Duck. He married Miss Linnie M. Jarrard in Altoona in 1902. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Gerald E. of Lemoyne, Foster A. of Altoona and John R. Q. of Tarentum; one brother, Chester W. of Altoona, and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Duck was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran church, Bellview lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Juniata, Modern Woodmen of America, Rebekah lodge, Hollidaysburg, and the Hollidaysburg Fire company.
