At 8 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Jennie Duck, wife of H. B. Duck, died at her home, 114 Fifth avenue, of a tumor of the liver. She had been ailing for the past nine weeks. Deceased was the daughter of James and Mary Evans, deceased, and was born at Glen Hope, Clearfield county, July 24, 1853. She was married in 1880, and with her husband, came to this city to reside two years ago. She was a Christian woman and a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist Episcopal church. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Foster and Chester at home. Also by three sisters, Mrs. F. H. Weston, of Frankstown; Mrs. John Saylor, of Williamsburg, and Mrs. Dolly Stevens, of Duncansville, and one brother, James Evans, of Pine Croft. Funeral services will be conducted at the house at 7.30 o'clock to-night by her pastor, Rev. T. S. Wilcox. The remains will be taken to Royer on the 8 o'clock train Thursday morning and interred in the cemetery at that place. Morning Tribune, Wednesday, January 3, 1900
