She was admitted to the institution on Tuesday. A full death notice will appear in this paper tomorrow. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, October 17, 1918 DUNCAN Mrs. Blanche Duncan, brief mention of whose death appeared in the Times yesterday morning was the wife of Frank A. Duncan, a marine now serving in France, died at the Altoona hospital yesterday morning at 1.15 of pneumonia following an attack of influenza. She was ill for one week. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Stroup and was born in Roaring Spring 31 years ago and was united in marriage on Oct. 10, 1908, to Frank Duncan. She was a member of the Second United Brethren church of this city. Surviving are her husband, her parents and the following sisters: Mrs. A. H. Thomas, Mrs. Marguerite Miller, Goldie, Helen, and Sara, all at home. Funeral services will be held at the home of the parents, 215 Fourth street, on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock followed by interment at Rose Hill. Both will be private.
