All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ EPHRIAM DUNMIRE Aged 58 years, one of the best known men in Blair county, died Sunday morning at 1:30 at his home in Geeseytown of stomach trouble, having been ill for several months. Deceased was a well known auctioneer and followed the trade of blacksmith, which trade he learned when a young man with Benjamin Gorsuch at Springfield Mines. He was a good father and a loving husband and a good neighbor. He was a staunch Republican, having held many township offices, being elected to one last spring. He is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters: Howard, Charles and Leo, at ----; Harry of Glen White, Pa., Mrs. Griffith of Carrolltown and Mrs. Annie Blyler at home. One brother survives, Michael Dunmire, of Saxton, Pa., and eleven grandchildren. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Services will be conducted by his pastor, Rev. E. Dutt, in the Lutheran church. Interment in Frankstown cemetery.
