One if Tyrone's Young Men Loses His Life in Yesterday's Disaster. From yesterday's Daily Herald. Raymond Lee Dysart, one on Tyrone's most exemplary young men, was among the victims of the bridge disaster in Canada, the details of which appear in our telegraphic news on the first page, a disaster which horrified the entire country today; and as a result the large family of which he was a loving and loved member is plunged into the deepest gloom. His mother, Mrs. Matilda Dysart, who has been in extremely delicate health for several years, is totally prostrated by the shock. The oldest sister, Miss Lou, was away from home when the telegram announcing her brother's death arrived. She has been sent for and will arrive sometime this afternoon. The young man whose sudden and horrible death is the cause of so much sorrow, was born in Tyrone, March 20, 1878. Here he continued to reside until last fall when he found work in McKeesport where he worked until last March when he secured employment with the Phoenix bridge company and had been with them up to the time of the disaster of yesterday. Besides the sorrow-stricken mother, two brothers and four sisters mourn their loss: Robert Emmett, of Lawrence, Mass.; Edwin I., Louisa, Jennie M., Helen B., and Laura M., of Tyrone. Death is always startling and repellent, but seldom, if ever, has the presence of the grim monster been felt in so appalling a manner as on this occasion. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community. The Tyrone Herald, Thursday, September 8, 1898
