EAKEN Died at His Home at Grazierville on Sunday Evening On Sunday evening at five o-clock, George D. Eaken passed away at his home at Grazierville, of tuberculosis. Early last august Mr. Eaken contracted a heavy cold and rheumatism which resulted in the above disease which caused his death at the above mentioned time. The young man, who was aged about twenty-four years, was a son of William P. and Eleanor E. Eaken. He was born at Grazierville and resided in that vicinity all his life. Two years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Carrie Smith who with one daughter, Edna survive to mourn a loving husband and father’s death. He is also survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Jonas, of Kansas; Mrs. Forrest Henchy, of Juniata; Mrs. N. S. Ward, of Tyrone, Fred, of Florida and John K. of Grazierville. In the home and among his friends he was always the same and those who knew him, held him in high esteem. Mr. Eaken was a member of the Patriotic Order Sons of America. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church, Grazierville, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Harry H. Sherman. Interment at Grazierville.
