Eakin, died at 5.45 o'clock this morning at her home, 302 Second avenue, after an extended illness. She was born in McVeytown, a daughter of George and Martha (Brown) Settle. Surviving are one brother, C. B. Settle, of Altoona, and a number of nieces and nephews, including Mrs. M. M. Epple who made her home with her. Mrs. Eakin was a member of the Second Lutheran church for many years and a member of the Missionary and Aid societies of the church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. EAKIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Eakin of 302 Second avenue will be held at the home at 2.30 o'clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. C. H. Hershey. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
