C. Eaton, and daughter of Mr. William Johnston, of this place. Mrs. Eaton arose on Saturday morning, in her usual health, and after performing her household avocations, about 9 o'clock, complained of feeling unwell, and in about forty minutes thereafter, she was a corpse. She was an estimable daughter, wife and mother, and our people sympathize with her sorrowing friends, in their sad affliction. We presume apoplexy was the cause of her death-her age was about thirty-seven years. On Sunday afternoon, a funeral discourse was preached in the Methodist Church, by Rev. H. C. Pardoe, and her remains followed to the Presbyterian Cemetery, by an immense number of sorrowing relatives and friends. We sympathize with her afflicted husband, the motherless babe, and the numerous friends- but their loss is her gain. We should all be prepared for a sudden entrance into that other state of existence, where sickness and sorrow, pain and death, never enter. The Register, Hollidaysburg, Pa., August 25, 1875
