He was born in this city on April 17, 1854 and was the son of Peter and Annie Eberhardt. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company as assistant foreman in the wheel shop. He is survived by three sisters, Carrie and Louise Eberhardt and Mrs. Annie M. Dyer. He was a member of the First Lutheran church and was a charter member of the Elks. He was also a member of the White Cross lodge Knights of Pythias and Veranda lodge I.O.O.F. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
