EBERMAN Died at his home in Hollidaysburg at noon yesterday. Mr. Eberman was born in Lancaster, January 8, 1816, and in 1832 he settled in Hollidaysburg and engaged in the manufacture of candy and confections, which business he followed successfully for thirty-two years. In 1835 he married Euphrania Snyder, who died six months ago. They had no children. Mr. Eberman responded to President Lincoln's first call for troops and enlisted as a private in company A, Third Pennsylvania infantry. He was a member and trustee of the Lutheran church of Hollidaysburg. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Henrietta C. Miner, of Polo, Mich., who was with him when he died. The funeral services will be held at Martinsburg tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock; interment in the cemetery at that place. Altoona Mirror, Tuesday, November 24, 1896, page 8
