THE DEATH RECORD.

Mrs. Barbara Eckenrode.

Widow of the late Jeremiah H. Eckenrode, died of liver trouble at 3
o'clock yesterday morning, at her home in Tyrone, aged 72 years, 15
months and 21 days.  Her maiden name was Kuhns, and she was a native
of Carroll county, Md., where she married Mr. Eckenrode, November 19,
1842.  They removed to Tyrone, March 18, 1866.  Mr. Eckenrode died May
23, 1892.  Four children survive: Mrs. W. H. Daughenbaugh and Mrs.
William H. Bing, of Tyrone, Mrs. Harry Klein, of Middletown, Pa., and
Mrs. Michael A. Bollinger, of Chicago.  Three sisters and three
brothers also survive.  The deceased was a member of St. Matthews
Catholic church.  The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 9
o'clock; interment in Oak Grove cemetery.
