EMMA CATHERINE ECKHARD

Of Martinsburg, died at the Morrison Cove Home at 6.30 a.m. today. She 
was born in Bakers Summit March 24, 1872, a daughter of John B. and 
Mary (Croft) Pote. She was married to William G. Eckhard in 1891. He 
preceded her in death in 1898. Surviving are two sons, W. Bruce and J. 
Elmer Eckhard, both of Altoona; seven grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren, as well as two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Miller of Martinsburg 
and Mrs. Sadie King of Waterside. One daughter and one son, Mary and 
Julius, are deceased. She was a member of the Holsinger Church of the 
Brethren. Friends will be received at the Miller Funeral Home, 
Martinsburg, after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
