The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock; interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Morning Tribune, Tuesday, January 16, 1900 The Death of William H. Edmiston. The following has been sent the Tribune for publication: "William Howard Edmiston, of No. 1923 Twelfth avenue, died Monday evening a few minutes after 6 o'clock at the age of 16 years, 2 months and 5 days. "William was a member of the graduating class of the Miller grammar school and attended regularly to the beginning of the holiday vacation, December 22, 1899. A day or so later he was taken sick rather suddenly; his sickness developed into appendicitis, from which he suffered, gradually growing weaker until the end came, when his spirit was wafted up to the great beyond from which no traveler returns. "We have reason to believe, knowing him in his daily life, that his spirit is now at rest and peace with his Maker, waiting for us who are faithful, on that other shore, where all is light and love and peace. He was one who made friends wherever he went, was well liked? by his teachers and schoolmates and will be missed in the school. While we feel that we miss him in the school we feel that he will be so much the more missed in the home, for no one is there who can take his place in the hearts of those bereaved parents who loved him so much. They have our sympathy." The funeral service will be conducted at the home this afternoon at 2.30 p.m. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Morning Tribune, Wednesday, January 17, 1900
