ALOYSIUS EFFINGER

Of 1922 - 15th Avenue died at 9:30 a.m. today at the Altoona Hospital 
where he was admitted Thursday.  He was born in Turtle Creek. January 
12, 1887, a son of Jacob and Mary (Wise) Effinger, and on June 28, 
1910, at Cresson Summit, married Clara McGuen.  Surviving are his wife, 
two brothers and a sister, Bernard J. and Andrew P. of Cresson and Mrs. 
Bess Eckenrod of Sankertown.  He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic 
Church, the Holy Name Society and the B. of R. T. having retired from 
the Pennsylvania Railroad, Pittsburgh Division, in 1952.  Friends will 
be received at the Krish Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
