William Ehman, aged 18 years, 10 months and 10 days, died at the home of his grandfather, Leonard Ehman, on Spring street, yesterday morning at ten minutes past 7 o'clock. He was an employe of the Times office, in this place, and on the afternoon of September 30 last, was taken sick while on duty, and immediately repaired to his home and took to his bed. Dr. G. W. Burket was called, who at once pronounced it a case of typhoid fever and treated him accordingly, and on Sunday last he had recovered sufficiently to be about the house, but for want of proper nursing a relapse took place and resulted in death as above stated. Taking into consideration the entire surroundings it was one of those cases which in the early stages should have shelter and care at the Altoona hospital. He was a good and industrious boy, with a strong, healthy constitution and ought to have lived to a good old age. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon, at 2 o'clock, at his late home and will be conducted by Rev. H. M. Oberholtzer. Interment in Tyrone cemetery.
