Deceased was born in Germany, April 12, 1826, and had resided in this city for the past forty years. He was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad company for many years, last working in No. 1 round house. He was retired several years ago on account of having reached the age limit, and since then he had been living a retired life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and is survived by his wife and the following children: George W., Joseph, Mrs. P. J. McGuire, John, Mrs. Harry Williams and Thomas, all of this city. FUNERAL NOTICE The funeral of George Eiber will be held Friday forenoon with the celebration of mass at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made at St. Mary's cemetery.
