Eicholtz, died at her home at White Bridge [Ridge?], in Frankstown township, at 4 o'clock this morning, after an illness of four months, of a complication of diseases. She was a daughter of Thomas and Jane Loudon, both deceased, and was born at Sabbath Rest, Nov. 8, 1851. When she was 10 years old the family removed to Piney Creek, where she resided until Aug. 6, 1874, when she was married to Mr. Eicholtz and they went to housekeeping in the house where she died, the couple living there throughout their married life. The following children survive: E. Clyde of Drexel Hill, Delaware county, Thomas L. of Hill Top, Mrs. William Blyler of Williamsburg and Lelia Dale Eicholtz of Pittsburgh. One son, Dean, died in infancy. She is also survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. George Speilman of Williamsburg, Miss Idella Loudon of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Grace Sparr of Williamsburg, Mrs. Margaret Speilman of South Altoona, James of Mill Creek and William of Sebastapolla, Cal. There are also six great grandchildren. Mrs. Eicholtz united with the Lutheran church at Williamsburg, Rev. Unrugh, pastor, in 1871. Following her marriage she became identified with the church at Geeseytown and had always been an active worker in the church, the Sunday school and various church societies. The funeral will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, with services at the house conducted by the pastor of the Geeseytown church, Rev. E. F. Dickey, assisted by Rev. Isaac Krider of Duncansville. Interment will follow in Geeseytown cemetery. Altoona Mirror, January 25, 1921
